What exactly is bigotry and how does it affect us today? By the dictionary's definition, bigotry is stubborness and complete intolerance of any creed, belief, or opinion that differs from their own. Examples of bigotry include the racism acts and views of the early 1900's, hate crimes committed by the KKK, Neonatzis, Gangs across America, slavery and certain foreign government's politics and regulations. But lately, bigotry has managed to slip it's nasty roots into our children's lives and have been grown and nourished by overly conservative parents.
Spongebob Brainwash?
I was just browsing the web web today and noticed a rather ridiculous article about a who Christan groups outraged by a mere children's cartoon. Basically, a foundation, whose objective goal was to promote tolerance, equality and understanding of different families and lifestyles was dragged into the firring zone that was the Christan "Focus on the Family" target. This video contained no sex, sexual lifestyle nor any other inappropriate subjects. It was suppose to teach our children that every family is different and every lifestyle or living situation was different and that the force that bounded these family units together was love and compassion.
Behind the gun, "Focus in the Family" fired back saying that this video was aiming to brainwash children and manipulating them to do what they wouldn't have done if it weren't for the video.
It's clearly obvious that these people need to open their eyes. This is just a simple cartoon promoting tolerance and acceptance. Staging this scene was, in my opinion, a pathetic call for attention and news involvement and utterly unnecessary.
In the end, there are going to be people unhappy, no matter how neutral the situation may seem to be. Providing education for acceptance and developing an immunity for intolerance is necessary for a better America. It's just too bad that there are people that get in the way of this progress.
I live in an ever changing world, with people who have managed to either stick onto my life and have seemed to tag along or got left in the dust along to way. I have strong opinions and new perspective. I’m not going to be in any way dishonest; I haven’t really put my mind into the world but one of my goals is to do so. I pretty sure the world would benefit from me sharing these views and opinions, so here’s a start to this journal. I’m simply Kevin and this is my life.

Stupid People
I can walk around in my community and witness these creatures, walking about with blank stares painted on their faces. They're not endangered, not rare, but sadly extremely common in our society. These creatures are called stupid people. Not only are they filling our streets, school systems and societies, but they are slowing down civilization, cultural development and weighing down progress of those around them who wish to shoot to farther themselves along in life.
Here are way of identifying these creatures
1. They poses ICP products
2. They constantly ask what's going on
3. They only don't use proper English in any type of fashion
4. They constantly ask rather silly questions and deny answers
5. They reject wisdom
6. They reject anyone's opinion that are different from theirs
There might be more, but I'm tired. Good night bloggers.

Black Friday
I've got to say that this is one of my favorite and most cherished holiday of the year. Seeing old bags fight over a nasty pair of socks and witnessing crazy soccer moms wrestle for that last pair of shoes at Payless Shoesource is absolutely priceless. Why pay for wrestling tickets when you can just stop by your local Koles right? Well, this year I couldn't attend this epic event. Some divine outer being seemed to hold me back and casted a plague on me. Where are the locusts? I rather fight off a swarm than be imprisoned in my own home! But no use of whining I guess. I'm sick so let it be. I'm sure I'll hear about crazy stories later in school or something.
About Me
Hello world, I'm Kevin Nguyen. I'm 17 years old, the golden age, the tip of adulthood and the end of childhood. I can definitely feel the pressures of life already, thats for sure. I go to school like any other kid, go home do chores, complain about homework and deal with life just like a normal child. One thing is certain, as I age day by day, I'm starting to see the signs that I'm not normal in fact. What can be scarier to a young adult? Living a normal life minute by minute and then one second later, realizing that you're not normal? Well whatever, norms are for losers I guess. In reality what really is normal?
I'm heavily involved in music and love it more than anything I do. I like to think that some people change the world in one way or another; I'd like to think my music has some effect on the universe great or small. Thinking this way makes life just a shade more significant. I am a hardcore euphonium player who doodles on trombone. I also doodle around on other instruments, but don't really consider squealing on a doodad actually playing. I love performing so much that if one were to ask me about the one thing I love most about myself, it would certainly be my ability to put musically color into the world.
I see people and life in a different way than what most people see. It's almost like I have a weird type of filter around my eyes in certain situations. I've guess that this is the reason for my different opinions and perspective. Sharing the randomness and silliness in my mind might, in the end, disturb this little world we see. Well, I guess we'll have to find out.
